The Whitney has launched a series of large-scale, commissioned works on the site of its future downtown building at the corner of Gansevoort and Washington Streets in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District.
Designed by Pritzker Prize–winning architect Renzo Piano, the downtown Whitney will include approximately 50,000 square feet of indoor galleries and 13,000 square feet of rooftop exhibition space. Read more
